Job Description

Faculty of Engineering, Construction and Science
Lecturer: Mechanical Engineering
Salary £32,000 - £40,026 per annum subject to qualifications and experience
Full-time (35hrs) – Permanent
Location: Glasgow (G21 4TD)

Essential Criteria

You will be qualified to HND, degree or postgraduate level (SCQF Level 8 or above) in Mechanical Engineering, or have significant relevant experience in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and appropriate vocational qualifications.

Experience in teaching and assessing is desirable but not essential, and you will have, or be willing to work towards, a further education teaching qualification and assessor/verifier qualifications. 

With relevant industrial or practitioner experience in Mechanical Engineering, you will possess effective IT skills and be able to contribute to the development and delivery of flexible and innovative learning and teaching practices.
