Job Description

Faculty of Engineering, Construction and Science
Lecturer - Brickwork
Salary £32,000 - £40,026 per annum pro rata (subject to qualifications and experience)
Part-time (17.5hrs per week) – Permanent
Location: Glasgow (G21 4TD)

Essential Criteria

You should possess a relevant SVQ/NVQ level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent vocationally related qualification. You should also have effective IT skills and be able to provide evidence of undertaking continuous professional development.

Experience in teaching and assessing is desirable but not essential, and you will have, or be willing to work towards, a further education teaching qualification and assessor/verifier qualifications.

Ideally, you should have experience in providing flexible and innovative approaches to the delivery of the curriculum; relevant industrial experience: and experience of assessment and verification in the context of SQA and the National Curriculum.
