Salary £32,509 - £37,493 per annum pro rata
Part-time (17.5hrs per week Term-Time) – Permanent
Location: Glasgow (G21 4TD)

You will possess or be willing to work towards an appropriate assessor qualification. You should have relevant industry experience and knowledge of the occupational area being assessed and have a relevant SVQ/NVQ or vocationally related qualification at, or above, the level being assessed. In addition, you should have effective IT skills and be able to provide evidence of undertaking continuous professional development.
Working within a team, you will be responsible for assessing and verifying SVQ portfolios for students undertaking apprenticeships (SVQ level 3) in Bricklaying.
The role requires you to visit a range of sites and will involve:
- Providing effective support of students
- Assessing and verifying SVQ portfolios relevant to the students assigned
- Complying with the college policy on quality, guidance and student welfare
- Monitoring the progress of students
