Job Description

Lecturer – Care and Humanities
Salary £32,000 - £40,026 per annum (subject to qualifications and experience)
Full time – 35 hours per week
Fixed Term Maternity Cover until 22 November 2019
Location: Glasgow (G34 9HZ)

Applications are invited from candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to the ethos and vision of the College and help shape and develop a Learning Organisation which best serves the communities of the North East Glasgow and beyond.

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver on a wide range of programmes up to and including HNC level and should possess a relevant HND, degree or post graduate qualification (SCQF Level 8 or above) in Social Sciences or a vocational equivalent in Care and have relevant current industrial experience practicing in the care sector.

You should have experience in providing flexible and innovative approaches to learning, teaching and assessment within Care and Humanities courses.

Desirable Criteria

A relevant teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

This a fixed term position, initially until the 22nd of November 2019 to cover maternity leave.
